About Alexis

Alexis Flores, NP,  is a compassionate nurse practitioner accepting new patients at Castle Hills Family Practice in San Antonio, Texas. Bilingual in Spanish and English, Alexis's mission is not only to connect to her patients on a more personal level but also to practice quality care with a focus on overall wellness and disease prevention. 

Alexis grew up traveling the world as a military dependent, becoming accustomed to learning and loving people from all walks of life. Before becoming an NP, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of the Incarnate Word in 2013. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing- Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2022. 

Spending ten years as a registered nurse before becoming an NP has given Alexis extensive patient care experiences in various specialties, including oncology, hematology, and orthopedics. She describes herself as a caring and compassionate practitioner who truly enjoys helping others become the best and healthiest versions of themselves. She believes it is never too late to fill the cup that you pour from.

Outside of work, Alexis enjoys weightlifting, traveling, decorating, and spending time with her husband and four children.
